Introducing our panel:

Serena Mullins is currently Manager, Car Parking, within the Financial Policy, Controls and Advisory Unit in Finance Branch within the Queensland Department of Health. Serena has over 20 years’ experience with Queensland Health in infrastructure policy, design policy, project management, and interagency revenue and funding arrangements. For the last five years, she has been involved in the transformation of car parking in Queensland Health across 15 sites, through planning, business case and assurance support, updated funding arrangements, reporting and analysis, and management of Queensland Health’s concession scheme. She has post graduate qualifications in Health Administration, and sometimes lets it out that she was once a physiotherapist, providing clear insight of how affordable, accessible parking and appropriate journey options shape the health care experience.

 

Brett Cohen is CEO of the International Parking Group (IPG) where he has responsibility for the IPG portfolio comprising eight hospital car park sites with over 11,000 bays. Brett has more than a decade of experience working with healthcare car park infrastructure and brings a unique perspective on some of the opportunities & challenges of managing the mix of users at hospital car parks to optimise both capacity and user experience.

 

Paul Laws is Head of Commercial Projects & Operations at Brisbane Airport Corporation.  Paul joined Brisbane Airport Corporation in 2014 and has worked across all elements of the parking and ground transport business. Paul is currently Head of Commercial Projects and Operations and is responsible for Parking, Landside Transport, Road Manager, Systems and Commercial Projects.  Paul has been in the parking and transport industry since 2007 holding state, national and global roles with a focus on airports, technology and project delivery.  Paul is currently leading the delivery of large-scale parking capacity projects on airport, as well as the developing BAC’s Landside EV strategy.
